Dear friends! The year ends, and as always, we regularly report on all the news related to our favorite band! That's just the news about HIM this year was not. But it was much more interesting in terms of members side projects. If you for some reason do not stay tuned, then you have a great opportunity to fill this gap from this post. Here we have collected important for the year, including with regards to our site. And within a traditional little surprise!
So, in 2016 stood out permanent HIM members Linde, Mige and Burton. Guys released third full-length album of their side project Daniel Lioneye called Vol.III. The album was released on August 19 and turned out just great. Among other things, Daniel Lioneye played 5 concerts in Finland, announced a big European tour, which was canceled later. Below you can listen full album, as well as watch video for a song Aetherside from Vol.III album:
Another news related to the Daniel Lioneye project: a book was published in Finnish "American Tour - seven weeks touring life".
In turn, the leader of the HIM, Mr. Valo did not rest this year too and gave us some wonderful creations. The first is, of course, a cover version of ABBA's songs - Knowing Me, Knowing You, which the maestro recorded with British guitarist Mark Gemini Thwaite. The premiere of the song we've been waiting a long time and waited for one night on Real Radio XS - Manchester. April 14 on the song just came out the official video:
Next, August 19, Ville released another cover, Olet Mun Kaikuluotain, digitally and on vinyl. Of course, came the official video:
And finally, as a Christmas gift, December 6 released the single by Andy McCoy Xmas Song, in which once again participated Ville Valo. And there was again a video with his participation:
At the most interesting events in the music world HIM for 2016 come to an end, and I want to add a few words about us and our project. Some updates in our HIM database: updated section Side-Projects and new section Tributes&Covers.
